We are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, veterans, firefighters, medics, business professionals, police officers, and patriots; trained and prepared to respond to emergencies such as: natural disasters, social discord and tyranny.

Who is Michigan Home Guard For?
It is for people who are interested in an organization based on the principles of civil defense and in support of the US Constitution and want to maintain the Republic that our countries forefathers brought into existence and not become a socialist stronghold. It is for those who want to meet together to share experiences and education on family and neighborhood security and protection, on community disaster preparedness and readiness, and develop friendships based on similar beliefs and values.
Who is Michigan Home Guard NOT For?
We are NOT an anti-government, extremist, ultra conservative stick-it-to-the man organization. We do NOT harbor criminals, addicts, or sedition minded anti-social derelicts. We do NOT confuse lawfulness with anarchy and will NOT cooperate with organizations who seek their own authority outside of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. We do NOT coerce, bribe or contribute to the corruption of politicians or law enforcement officials. If you believe otherwise, you do NOT belong in MHG.

In order to ensure our members maintain a ‘ready to deploy’ status, we train regularly in many areas. Some of the training you can expect to undergo as a member of Michigan Home Guard may include (but not be limited to) any of the following:
